Photo checks on MambaBuy: reading the three free warehouse photos
Scene six slowed down. What the inspection covers, which angles you get for each kind of item, and a reading order that catches most problems while the return window is still open.
QC on MambaBuy: the warehouse look and its limits
QC, quality check, is the warehouse's look at your goods when they arrive. MambaBuy's inspection checks appearance: style, quantity, colour, size and model. Sealed items and garments with seals stay closed, and only the outer packaging is checked. For electrical and digital goods, function and authenticity are outside the inspection. Each item gets three standard photos free, usually front, back and a side or label angle.
The photos appear under Member Center, Warehouse once an order is stored, or inside the order once it is packed. According to the tutorial, staff flag any fault they spot within a day and suggest a fix. Your own 5-day return window runs from the same Stored moment, so read the photos the day they appear.
Six passes across the warehouse photos on arrival day
This is how to check QC photos in a fixed order:
- Count. Number of pieces and the right option on every one. Wrong colour is the most common seller mistake and the cheapest to fix.
- Label. Read the size label against what you ordered, not against the listing photo.
- Shape. Collars, toe boxes and bag corners show crushing from transit.
- Surface. Stains, loose threads and glue marks at seams and soles.
- Print and stitching. Zoom on any print and on the hem; that is where cheap runs differ.
- Measure. If fit matters, buy one detailed photo with a tape across chest, waist or insole.
On our drill the hoodie's standard photos could not show the cuff rib or print texture, so we bought two detailed photos for CNY 4. That is the usual reason to pay for extra: one question the three standard angles cannot answer.
Asking for more: detailed photos, videos and remarks
Detailed photos cost CNY 2 each and are taken to your description: say which item number, which part and what to show, and buy as many photos as the request needs. A 20 to 30 second product video costs CNY 15 per item and is sent through WhatsApp or the order chat. The Remarks field on each order line is where you write instructions for the buyer, such as "check the zip runs smoothly".
If something is wrong, choose the reason carefully when you ask for a return or exchange. Seller faults cost you nothing; changing your mind costs both delivery legs, and MambaBuy's help says the seller's verification decides when the stated reason and the facts disagree.
