Returns, exchanges and storage time on MambaBuy
Two clocks start at Stored: a five-day window to send goods back without giving a reason, and ninety days of storage at no charge. This page is about not letting either run out by accident.
MambaBuy's no-reason return window, counted two ways
MambaBuy's returns article gives the window twice in one paragraph: seven days from the moment the courier delivery to the warehouse is signed, which it treats as five days after Stored. Elsewhere it counts the 5 days as 120 hours after Stored. We plan on the stricter one, 5 days from Stored, because the warehouse sees that date and you do too.
Between day 5 and day 10 you can still ask, but the seller decides. After 10 days a request may not be accepted at all, and once a parcel has left for your country there are no returns. Custom-made items, goods stripped of their tags because you asked, used goods, food and underwear are not eligible.
Pricing a return on the monthly fee ladder
A no-reason return costs the shipping back to the seller, the shipping the seller paid to send it (even if the listing advertised free delivery) and a service fee. No service fee applies to the opening return or exchange of a calendar month. After that MambaBuy's fee table rises in steps.

For a return, fees and postage come off the refund; for an exchange, the wallet needs enough to pay them up front. Wrong items and damaged goods are on the seller.
Storage time on MambaBuy: free quarter, paid extension, abandonment
Free storage is 90 days from the moment an order shows Stored. After that storage is charged; MambaBuy's storage article prices an extension at RMB 10 per order (the TG number) per 30 days, while a June 2025 warehouse screenshot shows an "Overdue Fee 1.00/Days" line, so the two official figures differ. At 180 days, goods with no shipping request and no reply count as abandoned and become MambaBuy's property.
Ninety days is a long time to collect a haul, which is part of MambaBuy's appeal. The risk is forgetting: the warehouse clock turns a Stored date into the last return day and the storage dates.
Lost parcels, returned parcels and refunds
When a carrier declares a parcel lost, MambaBuy promises to notify you straight away; after 30 business days with no trace it opens compensation based on the protection you bought. It suggests taking compensation as wallet balance; a refund to PayPal or Alipay passes the transaction fees to you. A parcel that comes back from abroad because of a wrong address, a refused delivery or a failed security check is re-sent at your cost.
Cancelled orders follow the status: Paid can be cancelled by customer service, Purchased is cancelled and refunded to the balance, and once the seller has shipped, a refund depends on the seller taking it back.
