Account, wallet, coupons and points before your opening MambaBuy haul
The quiet admin that decides whether scene four goes smoothly: how money gets into MambaBuy, what it costs to put it there and to take it out, and what the welcome pack is really worth.
Topping up the MambaBuy wallet
The wallet sits under Member Center, Wallet, Top Up. You choose an amount in yuan and a method on a screen that looks like the order checkout. Bank transfers are credited in CNY at MambaBuy's own rate once the transfer lands (what arrives, multiplied by that rate), take 1 to 3 business days and need a payment screenshot so the team can match it. PayPal and card payments clear at once but carry a fee.
Holiday notices matter here. During the 2026 National Day break, offline top-ups and withdrawals sent between 18:00 on 30 September and 09:00 on 7 October were queued until the morning of 7 October.
Withdrawals: the expensive direction for wallet money
Withdrawals go the other way through Wallet, Withdraw Balance, and MambaBuy's finance team returns the money by the original route in 10 to 15 working days. The help article is blunt about the cost: a bank withdrawal needs a company account and a 20 euro fee, PayPal withdrawals carry a 6% handling fee, and money that MambaBuy staff put into your balance (compensation, for example) cannot be withdrawn at all.
So top up close to what the order needs. In the drill we paid at checkout instead of loading the wallet in advance, which is allowed and avoids a leftover balance.

Add the face values and you get CNY 2,990, the headline number. In practice you use one coupon per shipping bill and only when the bill passes its floor, so a beginner sending two kilos to Europe will usually use the CNY 35 one, if any. The pack lasts 180 days from issue.
VIP levels run from VIP0 to VIP6 and are earned only from international shipping spend: every CNY 1 of freight is 0.5 growth value. VIP1 starts at 2,000 growth (CNY 4,000 of freight) for 1% off shipping; VIP6 needs 60,000 for 8%. Points come from registration (100), a review after delivery (30 to 100) and top-ups (1 point per CNY 100), expire after a year, and can cover up to 10% of a parcel's settlement.
Passwords, email changes and the support inbox
You change a password under Account, Security Settings (help article 6887). A forgotten one is recovered from the login page with a code sent to the registration email (6888), which is one more reason to use an inbox you will still read in six months. The support address [email protected] handles account problems only; questions about a specific order, parcel or payment go through the site chat, staffed six days a week from 9 am to 6 pm in Beijing (Sundays off).
The account also holds your addresses. Add the delivery address before scene three so the Confirm Order page does not stop you with "Please Select Address", and write it in Latin letters the local courier can read.
